Ben Wiebracht named runner up in the NASSR/Romantic Circles Pedagogy Contest for collaboration with students

Congratulations to Ben Wiebracht on finishing as runner up in the 2022 NASSR/Romantic Circles Pedagogy Contest! Dr. Wiebracht was chosen as one of four finalists for his work with Stanford Online High School students on the 1795 poem Bath: An Adumbration in Rhyme. The project culminated in a new critical edition of this overlooked satire (published by Pixelia) that places it in conversation with the works of Jane Austen, who lived in Bath and set two of her novels there. Dr. Wiebracht and three of his co-editors–Macy Maurer Levin, Kate Snyder, and Varsha Venkatram–wrote an article on the project for Persuasions On-line, the open-access journal of the Jane Austen Society of North America.
